Every year, we elect candidates at many levels, from local to state and federal. Every elected official plays an important role. Consider running for office! Resources are available to support you through this process.

The Allegheny County Board of Elections (BOE) lists offices up for election (opens in new tab) each year. The ACDC office can also provide on upcoming races and opportunities.

Support from ACDC and BOE

At ACDC, we're glad to meet with anyone interested in running for office. We can offer these types of support:

• Individual and general training
• Use of the office for meetings (endorsed candidates only)
• Mentorship from established candidates or officials
